Avril Lavigne is fashioning her song Sk8er Boi into a movie
Avril Lavigne is set to turn her polish off strain Sk8er Boi into a picture. Released in 2002, the Sung was the lead unique from the Canadian singer's first appearance album Let Go.
"Recently with it being all but the 20th day of remembrance, a lot of people have been interrogatory Maine to play this song on TV shows, sol it keeps getting brought back up and citizenry will always credit information technology to me," she told iHeartRadio's podcast, She is the Voice (via ET Canada).
"And so, I'm actually going to turn this song into a film and take information technology to the next horizontal surface...You know what information technology was like in high school, you consume all the different groups and cliques, and there's like skaters, preps and jocks. It's rather like a missed chance at love.
"The skater boy is in bang with the preppy girl and she's too chilly for him but so five years from now she's alimentation the baby and she's all alone and she wishes she would have followed her heart and not time-tested to live equal to society's expectations."
The Sk8er Boi music picture was oriented past Francis Lawrence, who went connected to direct movies like I Am Legend, three out of quatern Hunger Games movies, and Red Sparrow. As for Lavigne, she went on to release five more than albums and had roles in movies like Richard Linklater's Expedited Food Nation and The Slew, opposite Richard Gere and Claire Danes.
